A quick and messy practice picture with posca markers!

I recently got a bunch of posca paint markers! I also discontinued my old sketchbook in favor of this little journal which I’m having a blast filling out!
This map (multi-animator-project) part was finished around 3 weeks ago, but I procrastinated posting it so much that it took me this long to do it lol. I’m proud of how this one turned out! I changed up my animation method slightly for inbetweening, and that resulted in it being faster/a higher frame rate than I initially intended. Hopefully I can learn from this and figure out how to animate actions without so many frames! Otherwise, I had fun experimenting and making this. The character in this part is my main OC Mae, and she’s just been knocked out of the sky by a crow soon after first leaving her kingdom. When she hits the ground she notices a needle beside her, which ends up becoming her signature weapon.

I made a thank you card!

Joel loves coffee and Mae loves tea. Joel hates tea and Mae hates coffee-
They will agree to disagree.

Saturday, may 8th (aka “Mae 8th” lol) was one year since I started working on Mae and the Kingdoms of Seasons! Quarantine makes this seem pretty short, but I’m proud of myself for actually sticking to something for so long. I plan to keep on going strong!
