Some sketches of Noble (and Randy) when they were younger. Noble left home to live and study at the guards quarters when he was 13, even though the age requirement was 16. He was one of the most advanced trainees and excelled in his class, but he struggled a lot with discovering himself during this time. By the time he was 14 he was starting to figure out he was gay, but the royal guard isn’t exactly very accepting. He went through that struggle away from home and away from his parents without anybody to talk it through with.

Another round of designs!
Andrea was Anthony’s high school girlfriend, and his only girlfriend before Dolly. They met because he tutored her in math, but she eventually broke up with him which hit him hard at his age.
Orchid was Freesia’s nurse and attendant, and the one who told River to leave the castle.
Jimmy was River’s coworker and apprentice, working as a mailman.
Fiona is Dahlia’s attendant.
Branch is Soot’s husband.
Cecilia is Marvin and Pamela’s younger sister and a dancer at The Honey Pot.
Fudge is a girl Jeremiah was with for a very brief time after he graduated.
Lorelai is Amber’s daughter, and Mae’s great-grandmother.
Tiffany is Lisa’s mother, and Mae’s grandmother.
Basil, Clove, Violet, Sakura, Elm, and Holly are Dahlia and Vincent’s upcoming kids.

I haven’t been doing a god job of explaining or drawing out what the kingdoms look like even though I can visualize them so clearly in my head, so I tried drawing out basic maps for them. My scanner made the edge too blurry to read, so here’s a bit of a close-up on that part.

The story of Asha’s lineage told in a piece! It’s meant to work in somewhat of a circle. It starts in the top left with Asha and Ruben, then moves to Asha and Thatcher, then the line of her youngest daughters. Each of the youngest daughters are holding the letter Asha passed down to them, but you can see by their facial expressions that they’re unhappy about it, showing that Asha’s presence in her family is waning. It moves to Tate and Lisa, Mae’s biological family, and finally at the bottom right Mae is being adopted out to Beverly and Diana. In the foreground is Mae as she is now! Growing up and on her journey. Asha, as a ghost, is watching her, which connects it back to the beginning. The flowers in the background are delphinium, the flower Seiki use to decorate on The Holiday.
