- Anthony’s design was reworked from the temporary design for Dolly’s husband in her initial concept art. His design has not changed since this initial redesign, meaning he is the least dressed-up out of all his siblings.
- Anthony and Dolly are often portrayed as the happiest and most affectionate couple, but surprisingly their relationship was the hardest to write and make work.
- Anthony was always drawn as slightly round due to the original art style, but it became an intentional choice to make him slightly chubby after drawing him to the song “Miracle” from Matilda, in which Anthony was depicted singing the line about being chubby as a kid.
