Trivia
- Asha’s character was directly inspired by the character Gloria from the movie Happy Feet. Boogie Wonderland was her first character theme and remained one until it was replaced with newer songs.
- Asha was named after the character Ash from Pokemon.
- The idea of Asha following Mae around as a ghost was inspired by the song “Man on the Moon” by Zella day, for which an animatic was planned that involved Mae tracing the footsteps left behind by visions of Asha in the past. Despite the animatic being scrapped, the concept of Asha being present as a ghost remained and is what bumped Asha to becoming one of the most major characters.
